Every SOLARA begins as a pre loved Indian sari, chosen for its colour, character and story. One skilled maker from the Saheli Women transforms the whole sari into a flowing kimono, a matching 70 x 70 cm headscarf and a drawstring travel bag, so the fabric is honoured and beautifully used.

Wear the kimono loose over swimwear, denim or a simple dress, or tie it at the waist as an effortless wrap dress. Each print is completely individual and the name of the woman who made yours is stitched inside.

As each garment is created from reclaimed vintage sari fabrics, the exact fibre composition naturally varies, with most pieces being a blend of silk and viscose.
