The Angel Collection is a deeply personal collaboration between Meraki Beach and Mallorca-based leather artisan Anna, founder of Huella Indígena — meaning “Indigenous Footprint.” A name that perfectly reflects her philosophy: leaving a lasting mark through traditional craftsmanship rooted in culture, land & heritage.

Anna was born near Barcelona but raised on the beautiful Mediterranean island of Mallorca, where the rhythm of life is slower and craftsmanship still matters. Growing up, her childhood memories were filled with the scent of natural leather and the quiet focus of her father working patiently in his workshop.

Her father, Angel, was a master leather craftsman. Using traditional techniques, he hand-crafted leather sandals, backpacks and everyday pieces designed to last for years, not seasons.

As a young girl, Anna spent countless hours beside him, watching his hands cut, stitch and shape leather into objects of beauty and purpose. Without realising it, she was learning a craft that would one day become her own.

Today, Anna continues that legacy through Huella Indígena, creating exquisite handmade leather pieces that honour the knowledge passed down by her father.
