HERA EDIT BY MERAKI BEACH - A CHARITY INITIATIVE

Giving Fashion a Purpose: Introducing Our Charity Initiative at Meraki Beach

From the very beginning, Meraki Beach was never meant to be just a fashion brand. It was created with a deeper intention — to support people, protect the Planet and use clothing as a way to create meaningful change.

Long before conversations around purpose-led fashion became mainstream, this belief shaped our earliest collections.

Where It All Began

When Meraki Beach first launched, our first collection was made in India. Our focus went far beyond creating beautiful garments. We worked closely with local NGOs and government-supported initiatives, supporting vulnerable women and their children in some of the most challenging circumstances.

These partnerships focused on:

  • Teaching women valuable, long-term skills
  • Paying a fair living wage, not exploitative rates
  • Providing safe housing and stable working environments
  • Enabling children to attend school and access education

Our projects helped women gain independence, dignity and stability — breaking the devastating cycle that often forces poverty-stricken women into unsafe and harmful situations in the slums. From the start, fashion was our tool for empowerment, not exploitation.

That founding belief has never changed.

Introducing Our Charity Initiative

Today, we’re proud to take the next step in that journey by introducing Meraki Beach’s Charity initiative, starting with our first-ever charity collection: The HERA Edit.

The HERA Edit marks a new chapter for the brand — one that brings our values closer to home while continuing to honour the global roots of Meraki Beach.

Named after Hera, the Greek goddess of women, dignity and inner strength, the collection represents a quiet, enduring power — resilience, compassion and grace. Qualities embodied by so many women whose lives have been affected by breast cancer.

Supporting Breast Cancer Now

20% of all sales from the HERA Edit will be donated to Breast Cancer Now.

Breast Cancer Now is a leading UK charity funding vital medical research and clinical trials, while also providing essential care and support for people living with and beyond breast cancer. Their work focuses on helping people live well now — while working towards a future where fewer lives are lost to this disease.

This initiative allows our community to make a tangible difference through conscious shopping, turning everyday clothing choices into real-world impact.

Sustainable Fashion With Integrity

The HERA Edit includes hoodies, t-shirts and caps, all created in line with Meraki Beach’s commitment to ethical and sustainable fashion.

Each piece is:

  • Made responsibly and ethically
  • Produced using non-toxic, acid-free dyes
  • Designed to be gentle on sensitive skin, including skin undergoing chemotherapy and cancer treatments
  • Crafted for comfort, durability and longevity

These are not trend-led pieces designed for short-term wear. They are built to last — supporting both people and Planet.

Looking Ahead: Fashion That Gives Back

The HERA Edit is just the beginning.

As Meraki Beach continues to grow, our intention is to support UK-based charities through future collections — embedding purpose, transparency and social impact into everything we create. We believe fashion has the power to do more than look good. It can give back, support communities and stand for something meaningful.

This is our way of returning to our roots — and moving forward with intention.

Thank you for being part of the Meraki Beach journey and for choosing fashion with purpose.
